An NBC report alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin was personally involved in an election hack.

President Obama has meanwhile voiced his intentions to attack Russia in retaliation for alleged hacking of Democratic Party and Clinton campaign emails, but has offered no substantiation for his accusations.

Moreover, these serious allegations have not yet been addressed by the UN or any other competent international security agency.

Meanwhile, on Friday Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister told state television network, Russia 24, he was “dumbstruck” by these reports.

Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, stepped in on Friday and said the US must either stop with the baseless accusations of Russian meddling or prove it. Peskov called the rumours “indecent” of the United States and without grounds.

“You need to either stop talking about it, or finally show some kind of proof. Otherwise it just looks very indecent”, Peskov told Reporters in Tokyo where Putin is meeting with with the Japannese leader Shinzo Abe.

Peskov also warned that Obama’s threat to “retaliate” to the alleged Russian hack is “against both American and international law”.

On Thursday, Peskov told the AP that such rumours were “laughable nonsense”.

Obama has vowed retaliatory action against Russia. “I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections that we need to take action and we will at a time and place of our own choosing,” Obama told National Public Radio.

Meanwhile a former British ambassador has come forward to confess that he was given the Clinton leaks in clandestine meeting in Washington DC, passing them on to WikiLeaks, refuting any CIA/Clinton claims of Russian involvement.

In a shock interview with the Daily Mail former British ambassador Craig Murray says that he was given the DNC and Podesta leaks in a clandestine meeting in Washington DC, and it was through him that they were passed on to WikiLeaks.

According to the British paper, the Daily Mail, Murray insisted that the DNC and Podesta emails published by WikiLeaks did not come from the Russians, and were given to the whistleblowing group by Americans who had authorised access to the information.

“Neither of the leaks came from the Russians,” Murray said. “The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks not hacks.”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity has interviewed Julian Assange, who once again confirmed that “no state actor”, meaning Russia, was the source of the Wikileaks Podesta emails or DNC leaks.
