Witnesses contradict Canadian Government’s version of Quebec terror attack

Witness statements and reports contradicting the Canadian government’s official account of what transpired during recent Quebec terror attack at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City, have surfaced.

Evidence obtained form several sources indicate that, contrary to the official narrative, more than one shooter participated in the attack and multiple weapons were captured in possession of the attackers.

Mainstream media outlets claimed the attack was launched by a “lone wolf” or “white supremacists” but some were reporting false information from parody news accounts on Twitter.

The Canadian government’s statement that the Quebec shooting was a “lone wolf” incident, is not consistent with multiple media reports and witness statements that there were at least two shooters present.

Reuters even ran an additional report to their original one, citing a witness statement which said that three attackers had taken part in the incident. A witness told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that they saw at least two masked gunmen enter the building, and shout the Takbir [the Islamic phrase “Allahu akbar”] while opening fire on worshippers.

The Sun also ran a statement from a 22 year old student named Abdi, who had been inside at the time of the attack. Abdi similarly said he was convinced he had seen two attackers shouting the Takbir before opening fire.

Additionally, the number of weapons reported as having been captured indicates a likelihood of more than one attacker. The British Daily Mail reported that weapons captured included an AK-47 assault rifle and two other rifles of an unidentified origin, while The Telegraph listed two rifles and a handgun as having been confiscated.

Witness statements specifically mention that the Islamic attackers also reloaded several times, an unnecessary gesture for a lone gunman when using multiple weapons.

The witness statements which have indicated two or more attackers, as well as the accounts of the large number of weapons captured are not consistent with the Canadian government’s position that the attack was perpetrated by one single “white supremacist” attacker.

An unverified post to Reddit claimed that citizens listening to police scanners picked up chatter indicating that two of the suspects were Syrian refugees who had entered the country only days ago. Fox News corroborated the report stating that one of the suspects arrested was of Moroccan origin. The Moroccan suspect was confirmed by the Toronto Metro as being a local university student by the name of Mohamed el-Khadir.

But right after the Fox report taken from French media outlet La Presse, premier Justin Trudeau’s office personally intervened and pressured Fox News to retract their statement about the ethnicity of the Mohamed el-Khadir and confusion suddenly reigned.

The Canadian authorities now insist that el-Khadir was a witness and not a suspect, sparing Trudeau a major embarrassment. Only days before the PM had stated on Twitter that Canada would accept immigrants fleeing “persecution, terror & war”, but it seems highly unlikely that a witness would enter the mosque together with a “reloading” lone shooter.

Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau had earlier called the shooting “a terrorist attack on Muslims”.

Daily Beast ran a story stating that two “white supremacists” named David M. J. Aurine and Mathieu Fornier had been arrested in connection with the attack. That information was immediately revealed to be false, and had come from a Reuters parody account on Twitter. The Daily Best then retracted the information and issued an apology.

Mainstream news organisations were also reporting that the mosque had been the victim of an apparent “hate crime” because a pig’s head was left outside the entrance six months ago, while efforts by the Canadian government to wipe the testimony from eyewitnesses or push a “lone wolf” explanation were ignored.

In January 2016, two Islamists were arrested for shooting up the Ten X nightclub in Calgary. The Canadian Broadcasting Company speculated that the shooting may have been a “criminal” and a not political attack, and the charges against the driver in the incident were dropped despite him being an accessory to the crime.

Police initially arrested two men but later said just one remained a suspect. A handgun and at least two assault rifles were also recovered, according to the latest Canadian media reports.

The French-Canadian suspect’s Facebook page reportedly included “likes” for Donald Trump and Marine Le Pen, according to local news website TVA.

The insistence of the Canadian government that the Quebec mosque shooting was perpetuated by a “lone wolf” stands in opposition to statements made by eyewitnesses at the scene and information about the number of weapons confiscated by police after the incident.

But it raises broader questions about Trudeau’s determination to guarantee the safety of the Canadian people as Black Lives Matter together with far left organizations on Saturday converged on Toronto protesting US President Donald Trump’s “racism,” “Islamophobia,” and his decision to temporarily ban the citizens of seven countries from entering the US.

The organizations blamed “national and white supremacism” for “terror activity” against blacks, and insisted the government open the US-Canada border to accept barred immigrants and travelers.

Yousara Hougali, one of the founders of Toronto’s Black Lives Matter branch, said Canada was founded on the “genocide” of other races.

“When Justin Trudeau says that he is a liar! He’s a hypocrite! He is a white supremacist! Terrorist! That is what he is,” Hougali said. “Do not be fooled by his liberal bullshit. Do not be fooled.

“We have to rise up and fight back. Because we will not be moved…. We are the people. We have the power… We have the numbers…. Don’t you ever forget that! They make us… forget that all the time, but we realize this – when we come together, we can do anything.”
