Google launches powerful new algorithm against conservative sites

Google is busy purging all conservative content from the internet especially those ones that have successfully exposed leftist narratives ahead of the 2020 US election.

A new algorithm was launched on Monday, with some publishers already registering a big decline in views.

Only days ago, Google warned publishers to expect a huge shift due to changes in its algorithm. According to the company, the June 2019 “core update” will be affecting websites that rely on accruing search results.

Most notable among the sites targeted is the British news outlet, the Daily Mail. The site has lost up to 50 percent of its daily search traffic as a result of the new algorithm.

The SEO director of the website approached Google’s help forums to report the huge losses, according to blog Search Engine Roundtable.

Viewer stats compiled by other sources have confirmed the decline over the past few days, including a new report from Search Engine Land, citing data from the SEO tool provider Sistrix. The Daily Mail has been listed on Systrix’s list of big losers, along with NFL.com and Vimeo.

Google-owned YouTube on Wednesday released a list of generic ideas and statements they will be banning under their new “hate speech policy” as big tech monopolies move to censor free speech in order to advance their own political views.

Propaganda sites like HuffPost and the Mirror have received a huge boost from the new algorithm.

YouTube even included “immigration status” in their latest the “hate speech” definition. But it is worth noting that the United Sates has no laws prohibiting “hate speech”. Moreover, US courts have repeatedly ruled that so-called “hate speech” constitutes free speech.

Thus YouTube will be banning videos that do not violate any rules or policies, while ramping up its promotion of what they consider to be their “authoritative” sources.

On Wednesday the platform said it would be shunning “borderline” videos on its official blog, alongside various other changes in their crackdown on “hateful and supremacist” content.

Meanwhile, the Google engineer who penned an open letter about the company’s “outrage mobs” and “witch hunts” was fired on Friday, The Daily Caller has learned.

Mike Wacker was put on paid administrative leave and fired two days later after his interview on Fox Business to discuss the company’s anti-conservative bias.

“You don’t know what’s going to offend somebody next and a lot of time they are going to HR over these trivial things.” Wacker was the moderator of the Republican Party’s listserv at Google. He described his disputes with left-wing employees to the Medium, several of which had escalated into official complaints against him.

The Department of Justice will soon be launching an antitrust probe into the search giant. The company will also appeal against a $1.7 billion antitrust penalty imposed by the European Commission over AdSense, Google’s ad sales platform.
