Pool child rapist gets his sentence overturned by Austrian court

When a ten-year-old Austrian boy was raped at the Theresienbad swimming pool in Vienna, the rapist claimed that it had been a "sexual emergency". Because of this unlikely defense, the rapist had his conviction overturned by a court in Austria.

The judge concluded that the 20-year-old attacker, an Iraqi refugee, may have been “unaware” the boy did not want to be abused. At the pool the assailant, one Amir A., dragged a 10-year-old schoolboy into a locker room, bolted the door and violently sexually assaulted him.

The boy, known only by his first name, Goran, alerted a lifeguard to his ordeal. The boy suffered severe internal injuries due to assault and was rushed to a children’s hospital. He is still suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. After the incident, Amir A. who had worked as a taxi driver in Iraq, reportedly returned to the swimming pool as if nothing had happened, enjoying the pool’s the diving board.

The assailant, who came to Austria via the Balkans in September 2015, confessed to the rape, saying he had experienced “sexual emergency” as he had not had sex for four months. When asked if such actions were legal in his home country, he admitted he knew that “such acts were forbidden in any country of the world,” Kronen Zeitung daily reported.

Amir A. has had considerable amounts of taxpayers money allocated to his integration process into Austrian society. He was also provided with a 15-year-old translator, but somehow had not inquired about the implications of what he had described as his “sexual emergency”.

In June, a court found Amir guilty of grave sexual assault and rape of a minor, and sentenced him to six years in prison. A court awarded the boy’s family €4,730 in compensation after prosecutors described him, according to the Kronen Zeitung, as suffering “profound despair”.

But on Thursday, the Supreme Court overturned the verdict and ordered a retrial, another Austrian daily Heute reported, as the conviction of rape could not be sufficiently proved.

The mother of the victim, who herself moved to Austria as a Serbian refugee, said her son suffers from severe panic attacks and needed constant medication in order to sleep. He “screams and cries” and is “often terrified,” she told Heute.

There have a growing number of sexual attacks by asylum seekers at swimming pools across Europe. A 37-year-old mother and her four-year-old son were subjected to a sexual assault in the quiet southern Austrian town of Klagenfurt in March, Kurier daily reported.

In Mistelbach, another Austrian town, a temporary pool ban on refugees was issued following a sexual assault by a “dark-skinned” man on a 13-year-old girl in June. According to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung, the girl was first followed by her rapist into the women’s changing room. Once there, he forced her to perform oral sex. The girl, however, fiercely resisted and started shouting, forcing the attacker to flee.

A curfew was imposed in the northern Austrian city of Wels after a series of sexual assaults at a local wine and beer festival in early September, which were committed by Afghan minors. Some 17 sexual assaults were noted by the police.

“We had the problem that the female visitors of the festival being the victims of sexual assaults. 17 women in the age between 18 and 50 years were abused during the festival in Wels. Their abusers were refugees from Afghanistan and these refugees were between the ages of 15 and 16,” the mayor told RT, adding that one of the rapists was 23 years old.

At the biggest Swedish youth festival ‘We are Sthlm’ sexual assaults have doubled this year, despite extra security measures. The attackers were mostly migrants from Afghanistan and Morocco. Police said that there were 50 reports of sexual assaults at the festival.

Swedish festivals Karlstad and Norrloping too were marred by waves of sexual assaults allegedly committed by migrants. Dozens of Swedish woman were molested during both events. Bravalla Festival in Norrkoping witnessed almost 30 assaults, including five rapes, and Karlstad saw 32 similar attacks a week earlier.

A 40-year-old migrant from Eritrea with official refugee status was arrested as he was sexually assaulting an elderly woman at a cemetery in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the western German town of Iddenbueren in July.

A local resident alerted the police after he heard screams for help coming from the cemetery. The pensioner is known to visit the cemetery fairly regularly to mourn her long-dead sister, Bild reported.

The most striking case of sexual harassment by refugees occurred in Germany on New Year’s Eve last year. At that time, hundreds of women said they were harassed by attackers of “North African or Middle Eastern appearances” on 2016 New Year’s Eve near the central railway station in Cologne. Similar cases were also reported in other German cities. German authorities then tried to cover up the attacks.

A Cologne police Twitter post even described the atmosphere as “playful” on New Year’s morning.

Some 1 200 legal complaints were received, Die Welt, reported. Law enforcers identified 281 suspects, mostly coming from Tunisia, Morocco, Syria and other Arab countries.

Open border enthusiasts lambasted far right groups, particularly in Austria, for “using [the rapes and sexual assaults] to increase the marginalization of foreign nationals”.

But the numbers of those who welcome migrants are shrinking. A survey conducted by pollster GfK, shows 83 percent of Germans now consider immigration to be country’s biggest challenge – a staggering increase from last year’s figure of 35 percent.

DESTRUCTIVE HAILSTORMS will become more frequent and violent with increasingly larger hail, predicted solar researcher Valentina Zharkova back in 2019 when she stated that it's one of many signs of an impending Grand Solar Minimum. This is exactly what we have witnessed this year in both Europe and the world. Here is the German town of Benediktbeuern in Bavaria after a hailstorm on August 26th. Almost all rooftops and cars were damaged. The centuries-old church and monastery were damaged for the first time ever. Interestingly, the monastery was rebuilt in 1699 during the Maunder Minimum. Combined with heavy rainfall, extreme weather will devastate a significant portion of our food production. For instance, heavy rainfall destroyed a quarter of all crops in Greece in just two days in September. However, mainstream media remains silent. Photo: X @safe0007/Sandor Feher

NOAA Predicts Zero Sunspots for Almost the Whole 2030s

CLIMATEThe United States' government scientific organization, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), predicts zero sunspots from 2031 to 2040. This is an extreme situation that has not occurred in as long as humanity has been counting sunspots, and it leads us into uncharted territory in terms of our solar system. However, this prediction aligns with the warnings of the world-renowned solar researcher Valentina Zharkova for many years, who indicated in 2019 various signs of this catastrophic phenomenon, including the extreme hailstorms we have seen in Europe and the world this summer. The forecast and various observations this year give cause for very significant concern. In this unique analysis, Free West Media explains why.

NATIONALIST COLLABORATION TAKES SHAPE. Six parties met in Budapest on August 26th to sign a joint declaration confirming the friendship and political unity among the parties. The goal is to either form a new group in the European Parliament after the EU elections in June next year or to reconstitute the existing Identity and Democracy (ID) group with the new parties. European Nationalist Parties Forge Cooperation Ahead of EU Elections

EUROPEAN ELECTIONSOn Saturday, August 26, representatives of six European nationalist parties gathered in Budapest. The meeting was initiated by the Hungarian party Mi Hazánk and took place in the national parliament. Representatives of the parties signed a joint declaration that not only reaffirms the parties' friendship but also their unity on a range of complex political issues. A surprisingly clear and radical manifesto was established. The hope is that this cooperation will lead to success in the EU elections and eventually result in the formation of a group in the European Parliament. For Swedish nationalism, this meeting marks a success as Sweden, for the first time, has a party represented in a leading nationalist cooperation in Europe. Free West Media was present at this historic event.

Turkey Believes Sweden Hasn’t Done Enough

Sweden will have to wait a bit longer for NATO membership, according to Turkey's Justice Minister Jilmaz Tunc. First, Sweden must extradite the "terrorists" Turkey wants and stop the desecration of the Quran.

Swedish Weapon Takes Down Russia’s Best Attack Helicopter

The Russian attack helicopter Ka-52 is considered one of the world's best and has struck fear in Ukraine, where it has hunted down tanks and other armored vehicles, often beyond the range of many light anti-aircraft systems. However, it has met its match in the Swedish air defense missile system RBS 70, which has quickly led to significant losses for the Russian helicopter forces.

Alternative for Germany held its conference during the last weekend of July in the thousand-year-old city of Magdeburg, located by the Elbe River in the eastern German state of Saxony. The first of the two conference days began with a strong program speech by the party's male spokesperson. Subsequently, party officials were elected and motions were addressed. The second day was entirely devoted to candidate selection and positioning for the EU election in June next year. Screenshot: AfD on Facebook

    Strong Confidence in German AfD

Alternative for Germany (AfD) held a party conference on July 29-30 to select candidates for the upcoming EU election next year. EU Parliament member Maximilian Krah, belonging to the party's more radical, ethnonationalist faction, was appointed as the top candidate. The party's two spokespersons delivered powerful speeches criticizing the EU's failed migration policy and trade sanctions that isolate Europe and Germany from the rest of the world. They argued that it's time for the EU to return a significant portion of its power to national parliaments. However, they have dropped the demand for Germany to exit the EU.

Maximilian Krah is one of the AfD politicians who is singled out as an ethnonationalist, as he has stated that there is a distinction between ethnic Germans and immigrants who have obtained German citizenship. Krah is a Member of the European Parliament and AfD's top candidate for the upcoming European Union election next year. Still image: AfD on Facebook

The Establishment Wants to Ban Germany’s Second Largest Party – for the Sake of Democracy

The rising popularity of AfD has raised strong concerns within the establishment. Despite lies and demonization in the media and isolation from the overall political establishment, the party continues to grow. Certain representatives of the party are accused of becoming increasingly "extreme," and in an unusual move, the influential weekly newspaper Der Spiegel demanded that AfD be "banned."

FvD was quick to support the protests against covid restrictions. Today, the party also stands behind the farmers protests against the governments’ plans to close a big portion of the farms in the country for the sake of “climate”. Publisher of Unique Literature Worldwide Blocked by International Distributor

Arktos has distinguished itself by publishing groundbreaking philosophers and social critics. Now, the publisher's international distributor has abruptly terminated the cooperation, and more than 400 already printed titles cannot reach their audience. There is strong evidence that the distributor has been under pressure, something that has also happened in Sweden. We have spoken with Arktos founder Daniel Friberg about the ongoing struggle for freedom of speech in a shrinking cultural corridor.
