“Security stepped up at Cambridge mosques after early morning bacon hate crime,” Raymond Brown reported in the Cambridge News, June 9, 2017.

Police were increasing patrols at two mosques in Cambridge after strips of bacon were found on car windscreens near fasting Muslims.

Four vehicles had been found with bacon on them at the Omar Faruque Mosque in Kirkwood Road, King’s Hedges in Cambridge as Muslims celebrate Ramadan.

Officers will now patrol around the mosque in Mawson Road, off Mill Road, following the incident. The newspaper described the bacon as an “attack on [Muslim] worshippers”.

According to a Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman: “We are aware of this incident and an investigation is underway. We will be carrying out extra patrols in the area of both Cambridge mosques.

“We were called to a prejudice incident in Kirkwood Road, Cambridge, at around 12.30am this morning.”

There has been “a five-fold increase in hate crimes” following the London Bridge Terror attack, the city’s Mayor Sadiq Khan complained. Figures released by the mayor, also showed a 40 percent increase in racist incidents, compared with the daily average this year.

TellMAMA, which monitors anti-Muslim attacks, said: “Clearly in the minds of perpetrators, they believe that pork products are an insult to Muslims.” British Muslim community “experts” maintain that there was “huge under-reporting of such hate crimes” the Guardian reported.

Khan said: “I’m calling on all Londoners to pull together and send a clear message around the world that our city will never be divided by these hideous individuals who seek to harm us and destroy our way of life.”

Meanwhile the BBC was caught censoring a witness claim that Muslim attackers shouted “Allah”, scripting the narrative to their audience.

Karrien Stevens, who runs the nursery in London that the attack victim works at, has said: “A staff member was coming to work when three Asian girls came up behind her chanting the Koran.

“They pulled her to the ground, kicking and punching her. One of them got the knife out and cut her arm. They were shouting about Allah, that and the Koran.”

The Metro police said they were not treating the incident as a terror attack.

Two Polish men were jailed in Britain last year for throwing bacon inside a London mosque. The pair were charged with a “racially motivated attack” when one of the men threw bacon at a Muslim.

In Bristol last year, police were alerted after several people threw bacon sandwiches at the entrance of a local mosque

A Swedish man was facing prosecution for eating bacon too close to Muslim women last month. He allegedly was behaving provocatively by following the women with the bacon.
