Banner in London; C-Star vessel stopping human trafficking

Identitarians unfurl huge banner on Westminster Brigde facing parliament

On Monday, Identitarian activists unveiled a large banner on Westminster Bridge in central London directly facing onto Britain’s Houses of Parliament.

The Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), told British daily, The Independent that Identitarians and American alt-right personalities met in London “to discuss starting new UK branch”. The group has branches in France, Austria and Germany.

In 2013, however, Markus Willinger published a book, Generation Identity: A Declaration of War Against the ’68ers, and his speech in London actually marked the beginning of a similar movement in Britain.

The huge banner, with an accompanying lambda symbol read “Defend London Stop Islamisation”. It is the latest in a series of highly visible Identitarian stunts across European cities, bringing attention to the anti-mass migration cause.

Gerry Gable, “anti-fascist” founder of the research group Searchlight, have warned that IG was recruiting on at least three British campuses: Durham, London School of Economics and the University of East Anglia.

While young nationalists from Canada, the US and across the European Union met in London, Willinger had noted at the first London meeting in 2013 already: “We have no power left. Our values don’t exist in society. We have no media. We are surrounded by enemies.

“We know that most people are against mass immigration. But they are quiet. The left are not. Whenever they want something they go on the streets. And they have the media. It’s time that we are louder than the left.”

It also blocked a charity vessel bringing migrants from Libya into an Italian port, as part of its efforts to end mass migration to Europe, as NGOs were conspiring in human trafficking.

Currently in its fifth year, the Identitarians have vowed to end the Islamization of Europe.
