Demonstration Against the Bilderberg Meeting on Saturday

From Thursday to Sunday, June 12–15, the secretive Bilderberg Group will hold its 71st annual meeting

This time it will be held in Sweden at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Many consider the group to be the true power brokers, steering global developments from behind the scenes. A demonstration is now planned to shine a spotlight on them.

In the past, the Bilderberg Group’s existence was a closely guarded secret, but during the 2000s, they became more open as alternative media exposed them. They now acknowledge the meetings and release a participant list afterward. Critics call this “hiding in plain sight,” as the discussions remain confidential, and attendees, including elected officials and even mainstream media journalists and editors, are sworn to secrecy.

But the meeting is not without opposition. A demonstration is planned for Saturday to raise awareness. Nya Tider interviewed the organizer, Petra Agapi, a former columnist and producer at SwebbTV.

Petra Agapi, organizer of the demonstration. Still from SwebbTV.

Petra says her eyes were opened to hidden agendas during the so-called COVID pandemic, which she believes was orchestrated by the same power elite behind the Bilderberg meetings. The discrepancy between politicians’ words and actions led her to question what was really going on.

“When I realized it was about something entirely different from what was publicly stated, I decided to set other things aside and figure out what they’re actually up to. The deeper I dug into this mess, the more I found. It’s a full-time job to uncover all the lies and how things really work. But what could be more important when you realize your vote doesn’t matter?”

NyT: What’s the purpose of this demonstration on Saturday?

“The purpose is to highlight that other actors are controlling our politicians—in other words, we have no democracy.”

NyT: What are your expectations for it?

“That we’ll be many and wake more people up. The Bilderbergers haven’t been in Sweden for 24–25 years. Now that they’re here, meeting in central Stockholm, we need to seize the opportunity,” Petra responded. She added: “They’ve changed strategy. Before, they hid. Now that they’re being noticed and people are waking up, they book a table in the city center, like, ‘What, us secret?’”

NyT: I was going to ask about that. It used to be secret who attended, and politicians would deny being there. Tony Blair famously slipped up in an interview with alternative journalists and had to admit he’d attended. Before, the group’s existence was dismissed as a conspiracy theory. What are your thoughts on this?

“It’s not a conspiracy theory; it’s one hundred percent true. They’re the ones in charge. Maybe it’s the election that’s decided on Saturday—who’ll rule Sweden for the next four years. It’s not us who decide; it’s them.”

NyT: How do you mean it’s decided at the Bilderberg meeting?

“Our politicians today are a charade, a waiting room. We saw it when they brought in the Sweden Democrats. I voted for them because they were against the EU, NATO, and vaccine passports. What did we get? They flipped on every issue. Once you’re in that inner circle where you’re supposed to have power, you decide nothing. Core issues vanish, spines crumble, and the Bilderbergers take over. That’s not democratic. We need to change this, expose it, and make people aware.”

NyT: Today, Bilderberg is downplayed as a casual elite coffee chat, where they ‘just’ talk and don’t make decisions. If formal decisions were made, someone disloyal might have leaked it by now. But in practice, could there be consensus decisions where everyone aligns? It’s hard to know without transparency. What are your thoughts?

“It’s simple: Our politicians shouldn’t be behind closed doors with these people. These are oligarchs there to serve their own interests—getting rich by keeping us sick, starting wars, and putting people in debt. Our politicians are there for their own interests, not ours. We have a Freemason as Speaker of Parliament in this mess—how is that okay? Look around: how many campaign promises have been kept? Not many. They’ve promised everything, but now there’s a queue for everything, even for your grave, which you’ll share with someone praying toward Mecca. No one voted for that. This has to stop. We need to fix this. I don’t want to pass this on to my children.”

NyT: We need to free our politicians from this Bilderberg mess?

“I’d say we need a whole new system. The Sweden Democrats’ U-turns on key issues proved to me this system is rotten to the core.”

The exact times of the Bilderberg meeting aren’t public, but the Grand Hotel is booked for June 12–15. Whether the meeting will actually take place there or if it’s a smokescreen is unclear, as the hotel won’t disclose who made the booking. The police, however, say they’ll have a major operation in central Stockholm during the same time.

The demonstration starts at noon on Saturday at Gustav Adolfs Torg, a few hundred meters from the hotel.
