President Trump has lost focus, or perhaps I should say he has refocused away from US domestic issues and is focused on how to save his and Netanyahu’s political bacon by extracting them from the war he foolishly let Netanyahu drag America into.
Trump’s biggest problem seems to be Netanyahu’s unwillingness to let Trump out of the war. The fact that it is Netanyahu and not Trump and Vance who makes the decisions raises the question of American sovereignty.
There is no reason whatsoever for the US to be at war with Iran. Iran has done nothing to us, but the war is ruining us and Trump and the Republicans. Energy prices are rising and as the higher prices work through the economy all prices will follow. Markets are uncertain not knowing who or what to believe. First Trump wants to attack Iran for closing the Strait of Hormuz. Now Trump wants to close the Strait himself. Vice President Vance cannot negotiate with Iran without having to telephone Trump and Netanyahu to see what their decisions are. Recent local elections were a disaster for Republicans. By trying to restrict Iranian oil flows, Trump is causing the entire world problems and isolating the United States. The longer the war goes on, the higher the hurt will mount.
Our concern should be why does Netanyahu want the war to go on when both Israel and the US have run out of interceptor missiles and are sitting ducks for Iran. Is it Netanyahu’s plan to mire Trump in a war he cannot win while Iranian missiles destroy Israel, hoping that Trump’s frustration together with pressure from the Israel Lobby will cause Trump to nuke Iran? Nuking Iran is the only way such a large country can be moved out of the way of Greater Israel.
Netanyahu broke up the negotiations by bombing Lebanon, a violation of the terms on which Iran agreed to enter negotiations. Clearly, Netanyahu does not want peace. But the Israeli controlled American media and political system cannot say so. The Trump people will blame Iran, and the Democrats will blame Trump.
It seems we are stuck with a war, the cause of which cannot be acknowledged.
Does Iran Comprehend Who Iran is Negotiating with and about what?
Iran thinks Iran is negotiating with Trump about restrictions being imposed on Iran’s rights under the non-proliferation treaty. Iran is totally incorrect. This is a proxy issue. Iran’s real issue is with Israel, and it is about Iran’s right to exist. The Zionist agenda of Greater Israel, the foreign policy of the Netanyahu Israeli Government, requires the elimination of Iran as an organized sovereign state. Why does the Iranian government think that Iran’s continued existence is something they want to negotiate?
After the Muslim world watched Washington destroy three of the “seven countries in five years” for Israel, why cannot the Iranian government comprehend that Iran is the fourth to be destroyed, with Turkey, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia waiting their turn.
Iran cannot gain anything from negotiations. Iran can only fight for its life. If the Iranian government is incapable of comprehending this basic fact, “Turkey will be next Iran” as former Israeli prime minister Bennet said last February at a conference of Jewish organizations in the US.
After all the decades of Israeli prime ministers holding up maps of Greater Israel, originally from the Nile to the Euphrates, now from the Nile to Pakistan, how is it possible that Muslims in the Middle East do not comprehend what this means for them?
Are Insiders Trading on Trump’s Announcements?
Someone is making money on Trump’s announcements. Moon of Alabama reports that 20 minutes before Trump’s announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open, 7,990 Brent crude futures were sold, a bet that the oil price would fall that resulted in huge gains. Was this insider trading? Who knew Trump’s announcement before he made it? Does Trump trade on his own announcements?
If Israeli-American supplies of interceptor missiles are low and the radar sites destroyed, just how can the Israeli-Americans renew the attack on Iran without exposing Israel and US Navy ships to major damage? Perhaps Netanyahu doesn’t care and is relying on Washington to rebuild Israel. Iran is in the way of Greater Israel, and removing Iran as a sovereign functioning state is the agenda.
The talk about “resolving the conflict at the negotiating table” is nonsense. As long as the Zionist agenda is Greater Israel, the conflict can be resolved only by the defeat of Israel or of Iran. Peace in the Middle East requires Israel to abandon the Zionist agenda.
