Mexicans go wild for Clinton

Hillary Clinton is the top choice for president in many countries outside the US, but she is especially popular in Latin America, according to a new global survey.

    Ipsos revealed on Friday that the top Democrat’s support comes from Mexico and other nations just south of the border. Some 86 percent of Mexicans voted for Clinton, while 82 percent in Colombia would vote her in as a leader.

    Hillary is also a winner in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

    The former secretary of State, who favors even looser immigration rules than President Obama, also has wide support in Europe where she enjoys the backing of 65 percent in France, 69 percent in Germany and 83 percent in Norway.

    She trails Donald Trump in China, with 28 percent to his 32 percent, and in Serbia, 28 percent to his 39 percent.

    Eastern Europe shows higher support for Trump.

    The survey polled over 20 000 people in 25 countries.
