One officer was repeatedly kicked while being dragged to the floor. The mob of 30 youths stomped on policeman’s head during the horror attack.
A crowd had gathered to watch a fight between two girls which had been publicised on WhatsApp.
Many of the youths turned up to the pre-arranged fight after school in their uniforms. The violence was captured on mobile phones outside the New Cross school in south London, the Express reported.
The two police officers noticed a large knife a young black male while patrolling the area and intervened, but the youths surrounded the officers. They then attacked the male officer and kicked him in the head multiple times.
The female officer attempted to drag her colleague from the angry mob. After the incident, the injured officer was taken to hospital where he was treated for severe bruising.
An eyewitness described the attack to The Sun: “There was a fight, then the police turned up and were attacked by the kids. They were like a pack of feral wolves.”
Another local resident said the black teenagers fight “each other after school every week around here”.
Despite many onlookers, no one has come forward to assist the police.
There are numerous areas in England considered “no-go” zones. On January 14, 2014, The London Times reported that several murders and rapes were not reported in these no-go zones because of local justice systems. Chief Inspector of Constabulary Tom Winsor confirmed why police officers do not respond in some neighborhoods:
“There are some communities born under other skies who will not involve the police at all. I am reluctant to name the communities in question, but there are communities from other cultures who would prefer to police themselves.”
More than 250 000 Britons – seven people every second – had signed a petition demanding Donald Trump be banned from Britain for being a “hate preacher” before his election, because he highlighted no-go zones in Britain.
Several Met officers have told the Daily Mail the immigration to of some parts of the capital requires “extra vigilance” and they can’t wear uniforms for safety reasons – despite Scotland Yard claiming the tycoon “couldn’t be more wrong”.
The newly elected US president caused worldwide consternation after remarks about immigrants, including in Britain, when he said: “We have places in London and other places that are so radicalised that police are afraid for their own lives.”
One serving officer confirmed that Trump had “pointed out something plainly obvious, something which I think we aren’t as a nation willing to own up to”.
Another policeman said that he and other colleagues fear being terror targets and spoke of the “dire warning” from bosses not to wear a uniform “even in my own car”.
