In recent days the American press has rolled a version of the Nord Stream sabotage where the attack was the work of an essentially rogue Ukrainian general. August Hanning, the former chief of Germany’s BND rejects that story. In his view the complicity of Poland and Ukraine at the highest levels of the state is plain to see. He asserts the evidence points to a pact between Zelensky in Ukraine and Duda in Poland to carry out the sabotage.
Hanning presided over the BND (Federal Intelligence Service) from 1998 to 2005. During his tenure the agency disputed American claims that there was solid evidence that Iraq possessed chemical and biological weapons, and subsequently Germany stayed out of the disastrous invasion and occupation of Iraq.

According to Germany’s Kiel Institute Berlin’s contribution to Ukraine’s war effort so far exceeds €24 billion. — More than any nation except the US.
To all the initiators and patrons of Nord Stream 1 and 2. The only thing you should do today about it is apologise and keep quiet.
