Selling foreign intervention without irony: John McCain unhinged

After a report in The Wall Street Journal that President-elect Donald Trump plans to “slim down” US intelligence agencies, Senator John McCain has doubled his efforts to incite war.

The WSJ reported on Wednesday that Trump is seeking to overhaul at least two major intelligence agencies, the CIA, and the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

The agency leaders it seems are doubling down on Russian hacking claims and in a bid to save their jobs, they are calling for war.

The new president’s conviction that both agencies have become overtly politicized, and needs to be restructured, was borne out by an infamous warhawk’s latest unhinged rant against Russia.

Intelligence Committee Chairman John McCain, declared without irony there was no national security interest “more vital to the US than the ability to hold free and fair elections without foreign interference,” while adding the unfounded claim of “Russia’s attacks on our nation” that ought to “alarm Americans” enough to pursue war.

No evidence of such attacks have yet surfaced. Instead enough evidence of Senator McCain’s friendly involvement with ISIS jihadists in Syria have come to light where the American top official has interfered in Syrian affairs no end.

The bloody invasion led by the foreign fighters of ISIS against Syrians, including civilians and children, has met with only approval by McCain, but who now claims to be concerned about “foreign interference”.

In fact as chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, McCain has a particular talent for showing up in countries right before regime change war breaks out. He timed his own role in foreign interference particularly well in Ukraine as well Syria.

According to AP, McCain crossed the border near Kilis, Turkey, and spent two hours meeting with ‘rebel leaders’ near Idlib, Syria. The article further states that McCain made the trip in order to demand “aggressive military action in the 2-year-old Syrian civil war, calling for the establishment of a no-fly zone and arming the rebels”. The visit took place on May 27, 2013.

In 2013 journalist Charles Johnson interviewed and exposed Elizabeth O’Bagy. O’Bagy, who was paid by the Syrian militants, was caught lying about her Ph.D. and fired – only to be rehired by John McCain as a foreign policy staffer. He asked McCain’s spokesman, Brian Rogers, about O’Bagy’s description of McCain wanting to have a meeting with Syrian militants. He confirmed it.

According to Republican former state senator for Arizona, Kelli Ward, John McCain is “directly responsible” for the rise of ISIS. “Without his dangerously distracted foreign policy, we would not have this ruthless Islamic extremist organization that crucifies children, systematically rapes women, oppresses Christians, and throws homosexuals off rooftops,” Kelli told Breitbart.

Donald Trump has cast doubt on McCain’s war record after McCain called Trump supporters “crazies” and withdrew his support from Trump.

“He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”

McCain, a former Navy pilot, spent roughly five-and-half years in a notorious North Vietnamese prison known as the “Hanoi Hilton,” where he was allegedly repeatedly tortured, and spent two of those years in solitary confinement, it is claimed, until Swedish footage of a healthy McMcain uncovered the lie.

Seemingly, McCain has always been a traitor to his country, beginning with his stint in Viet Nam, where he was accused by many fellow soldiers of collaborating with the enemy while being held a POW in North Viet Nam.

Colonel Ted Guy, McCain’s commander during his time as a POW was preparing a case of treason against McCain shortly before President Richard M. Nixon signed a blanket pardon for all returning prisoners of war. Thus, McCain escaped all prospects of prosecution.

Colonels Ted Guy and Gordon “Swede” Larson, have gone on the record saying they are very skeptical regarding McCain’s claims of torture.

A famous photo, showed McCain still on crutches even months after his release from captivity. In early September 2008, someone discovered archival footage from a Swedish news crew which had filmed the return of the POWs, and uploaded it to YouTube. We see a healthy-looking John McCain walking off the plane without crutches.
