British online newspaper The Independent, known for it’s hateful articles about US President Donald Trump, seem to have taken journalism to a new low. An hour ago, the mainstream paper mocked Trump about a typing error in one of his tweets, a mistake that was corrected a short while later.
“He, or perhaps whichever staffer is responsible for his Twitter account today, wrote ‘honered,’ when perhaps they were aiming for ‘honored’. They got it right the second time however”, The Independent writes.
Donald Trump had previously said that he does not like using Twitter, but that he feels forced to do it because he can’t trust mainstream media in being honest.
“If the press were honest, which it’s not, I would absolutely not use Twitter,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
