Europol: Leftists far more prone to terror than conservatives
A new report by Europol has revealed that leftists are far more prone to terror than their conservative opposition.

Europol is the European Union’s law enforcement agency, headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands, and tasked to protect the 28 EU member states in their fight against serious international crime and terrorism.
Researchers in the United States are also concerned about the rise of leftist terror. “I think we’re in a time when we can’t ignore the extremism from the Left,” said Oren Segal, the director of the Center on Extremism, noting that Antifa violence was on the increase.
“When we have anti-fascist counterprotests — not that they are the same as white supremacists — that can ratchet up the violence at these events, and it means we can see people who are violent on their own be attracted to that,” Segal said.
Leftists in Europe carried out 27 times more terror attacks than conservatives in 2016, trashing the narrative of conservatives being an extremist threat.
Some 142 failed, foiled and completed terrorist attacks occurred in Europe last year, with only one right-wing terror attack recorded for the entire year, while 27 were blamed on leftists, according to Europol.
Thirteen attacks were blamed on Islamic jihadists, while the majority of attacks, 99, were labeled “separatist” attacks.
Deadly attacks which led to the killing of innocent victims were almost exclusively Islamic, with 135 of the 142 deaths and 374 of the 379 injured happening as a result of jihadist terror.
After this week’s attack on Muslim worshippers near a mosque in London, leftists were quick to roll out the tired old narrative of “dangerous right-wingers” representing a major threat.
Brian Levin, a former NYPD officer who now specializes in counter-extremism, told VICE that the left was a much bigger threat when he was sent to contain a KKK rally last year only to find himself having to protect one of the Klansmen instead from being attacked by a member of Antifa.
“At that point, I said we have something coalescing on the hard left,” said Levin.
Meanwhile a disturbing Antifa website has called for physical violence against supporters of President Donald Trump and capitalists, Fox News reported.
The site “It’s Going Down,” which has become a resource for self-described “anti-fascist” activists, encourages violence against anyone it labels a “fascist.”
