Hungarian FM: Brussels and UN are both working to legalise illegal immigration
Both Brussels and the United Nations want to legalise illegal migration, according to Peter Szijjarto, Hungary’s foreign minister. Szijjarto spoke to the media after a meeting of European Union foreign ministers in Brussels on Monday.

Illegal immigration have been planned in an organised way ever since 2015, Szijjarto told Hungarian reporters. The past three years have been a continued battle between those who want to stop and those who want to organise illegal immigration, he said.
He noted that EU delegates should refrain from speaking on behalf of the EU as a whole in either Marrakesh or New York, since a quarter of member countries have already rejected the Migration Compact.
The Hungarian government’s position has been consistent in warning about the dangers of the endeavour by Brussels, Szijjarto added.
He said the preparatory talks for the UN Global Migration Compact were a betrayal of Europeans, because the final version of the document does not represent the interests of Europeans.
Brussels is involved in naked attempts to irrevocably change the ethnic mix of the European Union, Szijjarto explained.
He said real refugees need to be supported “at the closest safe location to their home”. He warned that the most conservative estimates show that 30-35 million people could be heading for the EU.
Meanwhile, in Budapest, a member of Parliament from the ruling Fidesz party, Tamas Deutsch said that the European Parliament’s “pro-migration majority has gone haywire” on the issue of migration visas.
In an interview with Hungarian public radio, Deutsch reminded listeners how the EP had already discussed the introduction of the so-called migrant visa, but failed to obtain a majority in the final vote.
But instead of the failed motion being abandoned at that point, the unpopular proposal made its way back to the same EP committee and was curiously accepted for a new plenary debate.
Introducing a migrant visa, he said, would mean that anyone who wants to enter the European Union could turn up at an EU mission in their country and gain entry without an examination of their asylum claim or having to undergo any background security checks. An asylum application would only be launched on European soil.
“This means the EU would allow millions, or even tens of millions, of people with the intention of entering illegally to come here rather than protect the bloc’s external borders,” Deutsch said. “This presents a security risk to 500 million European citizens,” he underscored.
He said this “out-of-control idea” was being promoted by “pro-migration EP politicians”. The idea of handing out bank cards to migrants, was equally “unbelievable”, he added.
“The European Commission shoves rule of law issues down the throats of central European countries, while ignoring the clear rules governing its own operations,” he said, citing the example of the rule that MEPs can submit an urgent written question once a month which the EC president or commissioners must answer within three weeks.
Dimitris Avramopoulos, EU commissioner for migration issues, he said, received just such a question three months ago but has simply ignored it.
