The proposed jihad against the Syrian president was announced in order to “liberate” Syria from the hands of what he described as “infidels”.

A voice recording released on jihadist social media accounts is purported to be that of Osama’s ofspring Hamza bin Laden who is said to be about 28 years old.

In the recording, Bin Laden junior urged Sunni Muslims to fight the Crusaders, Shias and “international aggression”.

“The cause of Syria is the cause of the entire worldwide Muslim community,” he said in the undated audio recording released on Thursday.

“In order for the people of Syria to resist the Crusader, Shiite and international aggression, Muslims — all Muslims — must stand with them, support them and give them victory,” he added. “Wakefulness is essential, as is quick, serious and organised movement, to support the people of blessed Syria before it is too late.”

ISIS is being driven out of Syria with Russian support.

His father, as well as his brother Khalid, were allegedly killed in the 2011 US Navy SEAL Team Six raid, but all the members of Team Six were killed soon after the raid, prompting many to question the veracity of the official narrative offered by the Obama administration.

This is the first time that any of the bin Laden family members has tried to get involved in the war in Syria.

Born to Khairiah Sabar, one of bin Laden’s three wives, in 1989 in the Saudi city of Jeddah, Hamza bin Laden was added to the US terrorist blacklist in January 2017, but his jihad is nevertheless directed at the enemies of the United States.

The State Department has listed Hamza as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist”, freezing any assets he holds in areas under US jurisdiction.

According to CTC Sentinel, an audio recording released in 2015 by Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri introduced Hamza bin Laden as “a lion from the den of Al Qaeda”.

Central Intelligence Agency Director Mike Pompeo said on the anniversary of 9/11 that authorities were on a hunt for Hamza bin Laden.

“My team even as we sit here is working diligently to find them and bring them to justice,” he said to Fox News host Bret Baier. “If I were them, I would count my days.” But Pompeo’s threats sounded rather empty considering the usefulness Hamza could have for the US to get rid of Assad.
