A visually stunning response to Canada’s vaccine mandates
The massive anti-vaccine truck convoy started in Vancouver, Canada, last Sunday. The thousands of truckers from all over Canada and even the USA were joined by more and more sympathizers, some with private vehicles, so that the protest march is said to have reached over 70 kilometers.

The background to the historic protest is a vaccination requirement that came into force in mid-January, which also applies to truck drivers.
Initially ignored by the system media, the visually stunning “Convoy of Freedom” reached its destination, the Canadian capital Ottawa, on Saturday, only to be enthusiastically received on site by Canadians who had long been critical of the policy.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau classified the trucker protests as a “small fringe group of people who are on their way to Ottawa” to express “unacceptable views”.
Trudeau and his family are currently hiding from the public. “Due to security concerns, Trudeau and his family were removed from their home to an unnamed location in the capital,” the prime minister’s office said but declined to comment on the Canadian prime minister’s whereabouts.
The truck drivers were repeatedly celebrated on their way by ordinary Canadians who greeted them at the roadside or on bridges and expressed their solidarity with Canadian flags and posters.
Hooting trucks and private cars and pick-ups hung with flags or banners meanwhile blocked the city’s adjacent traffic arteries, while many residents provided the truckers with food and essentials.
Even the churches, which up until now have consistently defended and supported the government’s policies, opened their doors to truck drivers.
Australian and American truck drivers are also planning convoys. Down under, a “Convoy to Canberra” will come together to protest Australia’s vaccine mandates, meeting in cities in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia before making their way to the nation’s capital.
The Epoch Times reported that the US would be “next” with a “Convoy to DC 2022” announced to “join forces” to ride from California to Washington.
