‘What the hell is going on in Chicago?’ Trump asks

During his address to Congressional Republicans, the president wanted to know “what the hell is going in Chicago?”

The answer he received, was summed up in one word: “Democrats”. While the mainstream media is pursuing its current obsession, namely the anticipated failures of the incoming administration, one of the manifest failures of the Obama administration is ignored.

The horrifying levels of violence seen in black neighborhoods of President Obama’s adopted home town is increasing. The Obama administration’s parting efforts to delegitimize Chicago’s police force by effectively labeling it as a white racist organization that resorts to the use of “deadly force” in violation of the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution, have born its bitter fruits.

Democrats have governed Chicago for generations. And any honest evaluation of Chicago’s scourge were all but ignored by Obama, who has hosted BLM activists at the White House instead.

Judging from his public statements, Obama was more disturbed by the handful of blacks killed each year in legally suspect police shootings than he was by the thousands who are gunned down on the streets by other blacks.

One of Trump’s campaign promises include cracking down on rising violence in America’s black inner-cities, and Chicago may be a good starting point. “If Chicago doesn’t fix the horrible ‘carnage’ going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!” Trump tweeted on 25 January 2017.

With 44 murders already recorded, Chicago is on pace for 60 killings in the opening month of January which would exceed the two-decade record high set last year.

According to the Chicago Tribune, at least 228 people have already been shot in 2017, compared to 216 during the same period last year, with 44 homicides per data from HeyJackAss!.

Shootings and murders in Chicago are higher than this time last January, a month that marked the deadliest start to a year in the city in nearly two decades. Not even temperatures that have plunged to record low levels, seemed to deter Chicago’s violent black criminals.

As of early Monday, at least 228 people had been shot in Chicago so far this year, a 5.5 percent increase from the 216 shot in the same period time last year. There have been at least 42 homicides, up 23.5 percent from the 34 homicides from the same period in 2016.

Last January closed with 50 murders, the most for that month in the city in at least 16 years, according to police statistics. The year ended with 783 killings, the most since 1996, according to data collected by the Tribune.

Obama’s Department of Justice released a report one week before leaving office labeling the Chicago police department as nothing more tan “racist” and “brutal”, engaging “in a pattern or practice of using force, including deadly force”.

The report subsequently finds that the excessive use of force by police is applied in a “racially discriminatory” manner with the “pattern of unreasonable force falling heaviest on predominantly black and Latino neighborhoods”. Those also happen to be the areas where crime is out of control.

The overwhelming majority of Chicago’s 812 murders in 2016 occurred in those same “black and Latino neighborhoods”.

Thomas Abt, senior research fellow with the US Harvard Kennedy School of Government, attribute Chicago’s historic rise in murders in 2016 to criminals increasingly viewing the CPD as “illegitimate” and police officers’ reluctance to enforce the law out of fear of being the next cop to be publicly ridiculed by the mainstream media and put on trial for their efforts.

Not long ago a white female police officer was brutally beaten by a violent black criminal but refused to pull her gun because she “didn’t want her family or the department to have to go through the scrutiny the next day on national news”.

Last year arrests are down by 24 percent from the already low 2015 numbers in the city.

Through 2015, nearly 80 percent of those murdered in Chicago have been black people. In Baltimore, there have been hundreds of killings and most of the victims are black too. The same can be said about Philadelphia—also known as “Killadelphia.”

Detroit, another majority black city clocked 295 killings in 2015. Black people are slaughtered in Democrat-run cities, year after year, but the mainstream media ignores their plight.
