The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration and Immigrant Rights and Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary. Commonly abbreviated in the media as By Any Means Necessary or BAMN, seeks to preserve racial preference policies that have been rejected at the ballot box and by rulings of the US Supreme Court.
Leading “Black Bloc” militants at the UC Berkeley riots in Februray 2017, Yvette Felarca spoke to Fox News defending violence against whites. Felarca was interviewed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News on Monday, Feb. 13.
She is a social studies teacher at the MLK, Jr. public high school in Berkeley. She was previously put on administrative leave for punching a man at a protest in Sacramento in June 2016. Her students are well aware of her violent activities, the Woodbury Gazette reported.
A video posted on YouTube captured Felarca encouraging the Berkeley crowd to use violence. She is a national organizer of BAMN, the left wing, militaristic group which encourages violence against whites to achieve their goals.
BAMN’s focus on racial “affirmative action,” is a form of government-sanctioned discrimination that has become a black racial spoils system benefiting left-wing attorneys, university and corporate “human resources” offices, and self-described civil rights groups. BAMN says it wants to protect “diversity” programs and forced anti-white “inclusion” projects and to fight efforts to set up race-neutral policies.
In Michigan in 2006, several hundred BAMN activists violently disrupted a meeting of the state’s Board of Canvassers, which had gathered to certify a ballot initiative allowing voters to decide whether to ban government race and gender-based preference policies. BAMN had bussed in black Detroit high school students.
In December 2014, BAMN helped to organize a week of anti-police and Black Lives Matter protest in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. One of these protests shut down a part of Interstate 80 and led to the mass arrest of 210 people. An attorney and organiser for BAMN demanded that all of the charges against the protesters be dropped, but in the same week another protest by the group resulted in violence and property damage. They blamed the police.
In June 2016, BAMN led a counter-protest against a rally held by the Traditionalist Workers Party (TWP), a white nationalist group, outside of the California State Capitol in Sacramento. Violence at the protests resulted in nine TWP members being hospitalised, seven with stab wounds.
The TWP had a legal permit to hold a rally on the Capitol grounds.
