The head of a charity that campaigns against sexual violence was arrested in New York last week for child pornography. Davis was allegedly interested in meeting children as young as two for sex.
According to the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old is accused of wanting to arrange up sexual encounters between himself and young children, while soliciting an undercover FBI agent to send him sexually explicit videos of minors.
Davis, the chairman of the International Campaign to Stop Rape and Gender Violence in Conflict, was arrested on Tuesday on child sex abuse and child pornography charges.
The organisation is devoted to ending sexual violence, but prosecutors say despite his involvement, Davis exchanged text messages with undercover agents over the course of several weeks last month.
Davis allegedly told the agents that children of all ages sexually arouse him. He sent the agents sexually explicit photographs of infants and toddlers, including some of the children engaged in sex acts with adults.
He had arranged to meet the nine-year-old daughter of one of the undercover agents and with the purported two-year-old daughter of the officer’s girlfriend.
In his text messages, he gave explicit lurid details about what sexual activities he intended to engage in with the children.
According to New York prosecutors, Davis repeatedly demaned the undercover agent send him naked and sexually explicit pictures and videos of the children.
Following his arrest, Davis allegedly admitted to the abuse of minors.
