Didier Raoult dismisses Lancet anti-hydroxychloroquine study as ‘lousy’

Raoult has called The Lancet study “lousy” after it contradicted the efficacy of treatment with hydroxychloroquine. He also accused the WHO of talking “nonsense”. On Wednesday May 27 Raoult published his own study based on data from his establishment.

“I do not know if elsewhere the hydroxychloroquine kills, but here, it saved many people,” said Raoult adding that he has hard scientific evidence. There were no cases of sudden death or cardiac arrhythmia.

Published on the website of the Marseille University Hospital Institute, the study highlights the success of chloroquine in the treatment of patients. “Early diagnosis, early isolation and early treatment with at least three days of hydroxychloroquine-Azithromycin (HCQ-AZ) provide significantly better clinical outcome and contagiousness in patients with Covid-19 than others treatments.”

The study involved 3 737 patients chosen from 6 836 diagnosed with Covid-19. The average age was 45 years, 45 percent were men and the death rate was 0,9 percent. “Long-term follow-up of fibrosis screening [Editor’s note: pulmonary infection] will be the next challenge in the management of Covid-19”, concluded the study summary.

The IHU Mediterranean has already announced that it “will continue to treat [its] patients with the most suitable treatments”.

None of the studies I’ve seen quoted by the WHO, Lancet or CDC included zinc, while all the studies in which Hydroxychloroquine was extremely effective did include zinc. The pharma-backed health cartels are just interested in protecting expensive drugs like $1000 per-pill Remdevir.
