The President of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador believes it is too early to congratulate the Democratic contender Joe Biden on a win.

The Mexican President said on Saturday it was too early to congratulate Biden, even though his victory over Donald Trump had been announced by the American media.

“We will wait until all legal issues are resolved. We don’t want to be reckless,” Lopez Obrador told the press. “We do not wish to act lightly and want to be respectful of the self-determination of peoples and the rights of others,” he added.

“We have no dispute with either of the two candidates. It is a human subject, it is necessary to show decency and political prudence before taking a position on what happened,” concluded Lopez Obrador.

There is certainly no evidence that any group of people wanted Biden for president. It was Biden’s fourth attempt to gain the highest office. In 2020 alone, Biden lost three primaries in a row, coming in fourth in the Iowa caucus, fifth in New Hampshire and a distant second in Nevada.

“At the end of February, he had accumulated a paltry 14 delegates — compared to 45 for Bernie Sanders and 26 for Pete Buttigieg,” said pundit Ann Coulter. “Biden has nothing going for him — no constituency, no fanatical supporters, just a career in politics that stretches back 50 years.”

Kamala Harris, his running mate for the vice-presidency, was polling at 2 percent among Democrats before she dropped out of the primaries. Biden revived her moribund political career by picking her.
