Our values? McDonald’s touts ‘rainbow sticks’ for ‘Pride Month’
Only recently did the US fast food chain McDonald's officially announce its complete withdrawal from Russia. In view of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, the company announced that further business activities in Russia could no longer be reconciled with the company's Western "values".
The fast-food chain has now made it unmistakably clear which “values” are involved. Just in time for “Pride Month”, McDonald’s launched a campaign under the motto “Different? Let’s love!”. The company said that this advertising slogan was intended to express its solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
As a result, McDonald’s is now serving its customers rainbow fries in addition to the usual potato fries. The “Rainbow Sticks” stand for “diversity”.
Customers in Western countries can no longer defend themselves against political propaganda dressed as culinary choices without being “cancelled” by woke mobs.
In Russia, all previous McDonald’s restaurants there are said to have been taken over by a Russian investor who wants to continue operations – albeit without “Rainbow Sticks” on the menu.
