Illegals voting in US election far higher than previously estimated

President Trump has said that votes by millions of illegal immigrants cost him the popular vote, with around 3 million illegals voting. But he could actually have been underestimating the number of illegals who voted.

“A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in US elections is likely far greater than previous estimates,” the Washington Times reported.

Conservative activists have conducted limited investigations in Maryland and Virginia that found thousands of illegal immigrants were registered. Just Facts unveiled their report on national immigration which looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study, as polls show illegals vote overwhelmingly Democratic.

From groundbreaking research done at Old Dominion University in Virginia, scientifically derived illegal voting figures compiled using the Harvard data – called the Cooperative Congressional Election Study – concluded that in 2008 as few as 38 000 and as many as 2.8 million illegals could have voted.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which fights voter fraud, also released similar findings in one of its most comprehensive reports last month. Its investigation found that Virginia removed more than 5 500 illegals from voter lists, including 1 852 people who had cast more than 7 000 ballots. The illegals had volunteered their status in their applications for driver’s licenses.

According to the Foundation there are likely many more illegal voters on Virginia’s rolls who have never admitted to being illegal.

Researchers from Just Facts say US government audits that show large numbers of illegals use false IDs and Social Security numbers in order to function, which could include voting. Some of the polled illegals denied they were registered to vote when publicly available databases show that they were.

Last month, president Donald Trump signed an executive order setting up a commission to update voter information. Headed by Vice President Mike Pence, the panel will try to clean up lists containing outdated, deceased and fraudulent voters.

Conservatives say data suggests there is a much broader problem that a comprehensive probe by the Pence commission could uncover with an investigation into voter fraud in the 2016 presidential election.

This month pollster Gallup’s Editor-In-Chief, Frank Newport, headlined “Americans Want More Than Just Budget Cuts” reporting that, “Gallup’s latest update shows that 28 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of the federal government, while 55 percent have an unfavorable opinion. That’s the lowest rating for any business or industry sector we tested”.
