The warrant was issued by an Iraqi court in Baghdad, accusing Trump of being responsible for the death of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani in January 2020. The Shiites in Iraq have evidently gained considerable power in the state institutions after the demise of Saddam Hussein.

Twitter has meanwhile suspended President Donald Trump’s account permanently. Trump’s Facebook account has also been suspended indefinitely, and his accounts at Snapchat and Twitch have also been disabled, even after the President announced that there would be an orderly transition of power when Joe Biden is sworn in on January 20.

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in a statement.

Trump then tweeted from his official POTUS Twitter account: “Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my accounts from their platform to silence me – and YOU, the 75 000 000 great patriots who voted for me.” Trump added: “Twitter may be a private company, but without the government’s gift of Section 230 they would not exist for long. We have been negotiating with various other sites, and will have a big announcement soon, while we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future.”

Many European and American politicians and media pundits would like to see Trump behind bars on the basis of a US arrest warrant after thousands of Americans demonstrated in front of the Capitol in Washington on January 6 and apparently a little more than 100 of them walked into the building, aided by police. Police officers are said to have opened the doors for them.

An official shot dead an unarmed protester at point blank range after she had already entered the building: Ashli Babbitt, 44, a US Air Force veteran, was hit in front of the cameras and died in hospital. The anti-Swamp movement now has a martyr, an avid Trump activist from California.

Donald Trump has been made responsible for the incident on the Capitol, because he had tweeted just before Christmas: “Big protest on January 6th in DC. […] Come there, it’s going to be wild!” His social network accounts were then blocked because his opponents now say his supporters were “domestic terrorists” staging a “coup attempt”.

The new US president appears to be mulling an extension of the Patriot Act, this time aimed at at least half of the American population. “Biden has said he plans to make a priority of passing a law against domestic terrorism … [to] fight against ideologically inspired violent extremists and increasing funding to combat them,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

Trump certainly mirrored the metapolitical strategies used by the Marxists in the Democratic Party and the media, because January 6, 2021 should have been the day for Joe Biden’s triumph in the American Parliament. Instead, the world has been focused on the protest by hundreds of thousands of supporters of US President Donald Trump against a political apparatus in which tens of millions of Americans no longer see themselves represented.

However, the hypocricy of the Democrats in denouncing the events at the Capitol has been breathtaking. When anti-government protesters in Hong Kong stormed the Legislative Council building after forcing its evacuation for the first time on July 1, 2019, Democratic member, US Speaker of the House Nanci Pelosi praised them: “It is a beautiful sight to behold.” The Democrats also showed endless enthusiasm for the “peaceful” attacks by BLM protesters on governing institutions before the elections and giant tech companies still support them.
