Biden plans to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian

There are currently reports that Ukrainian air defenses are on full alert and civilian air traffic is being rerouted. According to a report from Yahoo News, the CIA has been training Ukrainian paramilitaries since 2015 to eventually launch an attack which will be blamed on Russia.

Biden said the US and its allies have expressed their readiness to cause serious damage to the Russian economy if Russia “invades” Ukraine. Russia has little to gain from invading the corrupt and failed state which is Ukraine, but has rejected Ukraine’s plan to join NATO as a “red line”.

“Russia will be held accountable if it invades and it depends on what it does – it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do, but if they actually do what they’re capable of doing with the force amassed on the border it is going to be a disaster for Russia if they further invade Ukraine,” Biden told the press.

Meanwhile, the plea of Russian-speaking Ukrainians in Donetsk and Luhansk who had previously asked to join the Russian Federation, may again fall on deaf ears.

In the Donbass region of Ukraine, LDNR officials said that their intelligence service has confirmed that Ukrainian special forces, trained and prepared by the UK, were preparing terrorist attacks in the LDNR possibly to serve as a false flag to lure Russians into a conflict.

The LDNR is the abbreviation for The Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR), the two quasi-states located in eastern Ukraine.

An LDNR military spokesman said Ukraine has six black ops units ready to attack the civilian infrastructure (water, energy, transportation, chemical plants, etc.) in Donbass. The point would be to create chaos and fear, making the defense of the LDNR for the citizen’s defense groups much harder.

As in Crimea, where the people of the peninsula overwhelmingly voted in favor of being absorbed by Russia following the 2014 coup, the same could happen in the LDNR if a peaceful referendum is held.

On Wednesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov called the situation “critical” and blamed the US and NATO. “It’s true that the situation in the area of European security is critical,” he said at a meeting of the Valdai discussion club. “It’s become so because of Washington and NATO which among other things use Ukraine as leverage against Russia.” Washington continues to claim that it has to defend “democracy” and a “prosperous market-based economy” in Ukraine. Ordinary Americans would gain nothing from this project.

In response Russian military equipment including nuclear-armed SS-26 Iskander-M short-range ballistic missiles have been deployed to Belarus and Kaliningrad. The further deployment of nuclear-armed Zircon sea-launched hypersonic cruise missiles off the coast of Washington, DC, would hit before Biden is able to escape on Air Force One.

On January 17, the ex-president of Ukraine, a well-known oligarch Petro Poroshenko, returned to the country. Poroshenko faced a criminal case for “high treason” and “assisting the activities of terrorist organizations”. In particular, it concerns the purchase of coal from the Donbass, a previously prosperous, industrial region.

“According to the investigation, the ex-president created a criminal group and disrupted coal supplies from South Africa in the fall of 2014. A month ago, the State Bureau of Investigation tried to serve a subpoena on the ex-president and summon him for questioning, but Poroshenko evaded receiving the document and immediately fled abroad,” SouthFront reported.

It appears that Poroshenko may have received guarantees from Euro-Atlantic elites amid the failure of dialogue on strategic stability between Russia and NATO. On January 17, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE also announced the end of negotiations on security guarantees within the security organization due to their futility.

Moscow has since reduced its diplomatic corps in Ukraine.
