Channel 12 news reported on Sunday that it was still unclear whether those diagnosed contracted the virus before or after receiving the booster shot. Eleven of the 14 cases were over the age of 60 and the two that were hospitalized were over 60, The Times of Israel reported.

Because of a surge of new cases in one of the world’s most vaccinated countries, the government is planning a nationwide lockdown for the coming holiday period, suggesting that even the vaccine advocates now realize that these products do not offer the promised protection against the virus.

Channel 12 reported on Friday that according to Health Ministry officials, a fresh lockdown would become necessary when Israel reaches 600 to 700 seriously ill patients.

The Israeli Health Ministry also released alarming new figures on Sunday showing an unabated rise in serious Coronavirus cases, with 21 new patients on Saturday. Some 16 fatalities were recorded over the weekend. An additional 2886 people were diagnosed with SARS-Cov-2 on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases in Israel since the start of the pandemic to 898 433.

During Sunday’s cabinet meeting, Education Minister Yifat Shasha-Biton angrily reminded her colleagues that lockdown measures would not work. “We have seen the charts — it doesn’t matter whether countries imposed lockdown or not, the morbidity charts look the same.”

She said vaccinating children in schools was a “crime,” and any mentions of lockdown must be “taken off the agenda”. Intelligence Minister Elazar Stern supported Shasha-Biton: “We need to eliminate the word ‘lockdown’ from our lexicon. We are causing people to live under threat.”

Australia was a case in point, another official pointed out. Despite draconian lockdowns  – the eighth lockdown so far – Covid cases in the country down under keep rising.

Out of Israel’s population of some 9,3 million, over 5,8 million have received at least one dose of the product, nearly 5,4 million have gotten two and over 420 000 have been administered a third booster shot.

The fearmongering by signatories of Big pharma contracts may be unravelling, at least in the US. Senator Rand Paul delivered a powerful short speech saying that we were facing at a moment of truth and a crossroads. “Will we allow these people to use fear and propaganda to do further harm to our society, economy, and children? Or will we stand together and say, absolutely not. Not this time. I choose freedom.”
