The attorney who successfully represented Nick Sandmann in multiple lawsuits against a "progressive" media onslaught, has offered to help teen Kyle Rittenhouse for free because the teenager is facing a similar problem after being chased down during ongoing rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In the case of Sandmann, mainstream media reported that white school children had harassed a group of Native American, black and minority adults when footage of the interaction shows that the exact opposite had happened. Despite clear proof of Sandmann’s innocence, he was found guilty by the media.
Rittenhouse is facing a similar, if not worse predicament. He is being charged with first-degree murder for defending himself against violent assailants during a BLM riot the small city in Wisconsin. It is legal in Wisconsin for people aged 18 and over to openly carry a gun without a license.
His armed attackers – captured on video assaulting and chasing down Rittenhouse – were all adults with criminal records but GoFundMe has suspended Rittenhouse’s legal defense fund. Rittenhouse shot all three while trying to flee from them, killing two and injuring the third assailant.
Rittenhouse’s first assailant, Jojo Rosenbaum who was filmed chasing the teen on Tuesday night and throwing an object at him before charging him, was a registered sex offender for a sex crime involving a minor, the Chicago-Sun Times reported. Rosenbaum tried to grab the gun that Rittenhouse was carrying.
The second attacker, Anthony Huber, who can be seen smashing a skateboard against Rittenhouse’s head while he is on the ground, had a lengthy record which includes charges of domestic abuse, battery, use of a dangerous weapon and false imprisonment.
The third assailant – who survived – is Gaige Grosskreutz, 26. He’s a member of the People’s Revolution Movement. He was filmed chasing after the teen with a pistol and wearing a mask with a pentagram from the Church of Satan known as the “Sigil of Baphomet” on it. In a Facebook post, Grosskreutz regrets not killing the teenager.
Democrat congresswoman Ayanna Pressley has smeared Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist domestic terrorist”. In response, his attorney Lin Wood tweeted: “Ayanna Pressley just got condemned to the World of the Blocked. She is no Elvis. And I am not a criminal defense lawyer but I am going to see what I can do tomorrow to help Kyle Rittenhouse.”
He said Rittenhouse would not need to pay him after Fundly also shut down Rittenhouse’s legal defense fund on the same day.
“I will be speaking with Attorney John Pierce later today about Kyle Rittenhouse,” Lin Wood said in another tweet. “John has taken lead in helping form #FightBack Foundation … Enough is enough.”
“In touch with some great people in effort to get Kyle Rittenhouse competent defense counsel,” Lin Wood said in another follow-up tweet. “Michelle Malkin is an American hero.”
“The line in the sand has been crossed,” Lin Wood said. “If Kyle cannot defend himself under the circumstances shown in videos, we are all at risk. Think about it.”
In an interview reported by the Daily Caller, Rittenhouse said he had brought his gun only for “self defense”, and that he hoped to “help people” by treating the injured. He had brought a first-aid kit to the protest.
“So people are getting injured, and our job is to protect this business,” he said. “And part of my job is to also help people. If there is somebody hurt, I’m running into harm’s way. That’s why I have my rifle – because I can protect myself, obviously. But I also have my med kit.”
The city has seen four nights of rioting with inhabitants trying to protect their businesses being viciously assaulted. There have been no “peaceful” protests as CNN and CBS have tried to claim. Instead, running battles between police and rioters have been taking place every night.
Petrol stations were closed to prevent further arson while BLM rioters blocked police from entering areas they were looting and burning, using vehicles with their number plates covered. Several businesses including a Department of Corrections building were burnt to the ground.
Benjamin Crump, who filed multimillion-dollar lawsuits against the city of Minneapolis on behalf of the George Floyd family last month, is now also the lawyer for the black man Jacob Blake who was shot in Kenosha. Just like Floyd’s death, Blake’s injuries (he survived the shooting) during his arrest, sparked extensive rioting and looting in the city. Floyd died of a drug overdose according to a Hennepin County coroner, but Crump claims he died at the hands of police officers.
Crump, a civil rights attorney used a fraudulent witness in the Trayvon Martin case, perpetrating the most consequential hoax in recent American judicial history.
